Missouri Baptist Birthing Center is a service provided by BJC HealthCare. This practice is here for every part of your journey into parenthood. Their OB-GYN department will be there for well-woman visits, fertility consultations, prenatal visits, and postpartum care. They share an affiliation with St. Louis Children’s Hospital and have on-site NICU providers from Washington University Physicians. Trust me, this hospital is going to make sure you have everything you need for your dream delivery!
Services
At Missouri Baptist, they believe that every person should have access to their perfect birth experience. All their prenatal visits take place in the same building where you will deliver, helping you get well-acquainted with the space before it is go-time! As you near the end of your pregnancy, your provider will start to help you figure out your birth plan. If you choose to go unmedicated, they will support you. They have support tools, such as birthing balls, that you can use throughout.
If you do choose to use anesthesia, they will let you decide which point of the process you would like it delivered. They have expert anesthesiologists available 24/7. There is a comfortable waiting room where your family can gather if you would like them on-site. Throughout your delivery, you will get to see the MoBap difference as you work with their expert nurses. They also will ensure the area is comfortable and quiet so you don’t have to feel like you’re stuck at a hospital throughout your delivery.
Specialty
Once you deliver, you will be sent to recover in the Missouri Baptist Birthing Center Mother-Baby room. These areas have comfortable partner sleeping arrangements. You can choose to have your baby in the room with you throughout the night. Throughout this period, you will talk to experts, including pediatricians and lactation consultants, who will make sure you and your baby are on the path to recovery.
Should you need it, MoBap has an on-site NICU with help from one of the best children’s hospitals in the nation. They will give your baby constant care all within one convenient site.
