About City Sprouts
This woman-owned boutique came to fruition in 2005 with Molly Curlee, a mother and entrepreneur. Molly had already been successfully running another boutique, Phoenix Rising, when she learned she was pregnant with her first baby girl. As soon as she knew what she was having, she set out to prepare the perfect nursery.
She wanted something she and her new baby would love because she knew she would also spend much time there. Molly wanted nursery furniture and décor that was less frilly, modern, and trendy but came back empty-handed. She knew this style existed as she had found similar things for her other boutique.
Coincidentally, a space across the street from Phoenix Rising was up for lease. Molly suddenly had the perfect idea to solve her problem and anyone else’s. She HAD to open a boutique dedicated to babies and kids that held more than the average options. Since opening City Sprouts, Molly Curlee has loved helping each customer find the perfect item or gift while engaging with their little ones.
