About Star of the Sea Doula
Britni Sisco first decided that she wanted to become a doula after watching her own mom’s complicated birth experiences. She saw firsthand how empowering it could be when women were able to take charge of their own deliveries. Since then, she has been deeply passionate about helping parents have their ideal births through Star of the Sea Doula. She stays up-to-date with all the information so she can be sure she’s helping her clients create effective solutions. She is also a huge fan of holistic health and will help you find natural remedies that will keep you feeling your best!
Services
Star of the Sea Doula offers support as both a birth and a postpartum doula. If you choose to use her for your delivery, you can start out with a free consultation. During this time, you are going to find out all about her style so you can decide if she’s the doula for you. If so, you will have 2 in-home prenatal visits where you will work with her to create your birth plan. She will make sure you have all the information and the resources you need to make this a reality. As your due date approaches, she will give you 24/7 on-call availability so you can call her when it’s time. She will provide you with constant support throughout labor and give you an in-home postpartum visit following your baby’s arrival.
If you are looking for additional postpartum support, you can book Britni for a minimum of 3 hours. She will offer both physical and emotional support so you can be on the path to recovery. Britni offers both daytime and evening availability.
