When you are a parent, you hear a lot of not-so-helpful advice from people who mean well. “Sleep when the baby sleeps!” is going to serve as a common refrain throughout this time. The only issue? What the heck do you do when your baby just won’t sleep?! You need some professional guidance, and I am here to help you find it! As a St. Louis photographer, I get the chance to chat with plenty of parents who have finally been able to get their babies to sleep. If you could use a recommendation, let me tell you all about Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting!
Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting was started in Philadelphia by Courtney Zentz. When Courtney’s newborn was just 4-weeks-old, she realized how much she wanted to return to work. She lacked the community that she desperately needed, and she was getting pretty much no rest. She knew things had to get better, so she searched for a way to finally get some sleep. Once she realized how transformative a good night’s rest was, she decided she wanted to help other parents. Courtney is now a Certified Sleep Consultant, Lactation Consultant, and Postpartum Doula. While the center is based in Philadelphia, they have consultants across the country as well as virtual options. No matter where you are, you are never too far away from the rest.
Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting features private 1:1 consulting that is absolutely going to change your life! At this center, they believe it’s never too early to start building up healthy habits that will result in rest for the whole family. You can start out during the newborn stage by doing a discovery call. During this, you can tell them all your concerns, and they will let you know how they can help.
Your consultant will work with you to recognize your baby’s cues so you know whether they are tired, hungry, fussy, colicky, or something else entirely. They will chat about everything from your environment to your parenting style so they can offer personalized help. They will also teach you how to create habits so your baby will actually sleep at night! These consultations go up to the age of 12-years-old, and they offer professional advice for children with functional needs.
If you want to try to DIY this, Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting has a course where you can have instant access to their online lessons. You will learn how to teach your child to settle down, how to create a reliable nap schedule, how to respond to needs, and how to identify a sleep regression.
With Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting, you can finally get some rest. Give them a call today so your entire family can feel their best!
