Barnes Jewish Hospital Fresh 48 Session
This was my first time shooting a Barnes Jewish Hospital Fresh 48 Session, and it was so special! Kaliyah’s mom, Chrissy and I are cousins and I was so excited to capture her session for her.
While Kaliyah may be tiny, she sure is mighty as her nurses said. She was born early, but the doctors and nurses are all saying that she is doing so well! Kaliyah’s family has been through a tremendous amount of loss over the last couple of years and they have been dreaming of the day when their rainbow baby would join them. Chrissy mentioned many times throughout the session that she feels like this is all a dream. Chrissy’s pregnancy was very difficult and I know that she was counting the days until her sweet baby girl would make her way into their lives. Kaliyah has two beautiful siblings to watch over her from heaven and has one amazing big sister to watch over her here on earth. She is surrounded by love and I have no doubt that she will be cherished by many.
Congratulations to Ken, Chrissy, and Janessa, you are so blessed! I cannot wait to watch Kaliyah grow up with all of the cousins! She is so beautiful!!

A rating of 5 is not high enough for Kelly!! Kelly is an amazing photographer, was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was quick to reply to emails. Shes an upbeat and positive person, which made out photo sessions comfortable and fun!! Kelly is professional in more ways than one and I highly recommend her to anyone in the St. Louis area wanting some maternity and/or family photos taken!
