Joshua Tree National Park Styled Shoot//Palm Springs, California//Missouri & Destination Wedding Photographer

Shooting in California was a dream! This was my first trip to the west coast and my first time seeing a real cactus! I stepped on them a few times and I’m still feeling the pain! However, that will not stop me from going back again. I could shoot the California light all year!

I was invited to join a group of photographers looking to get away for a few days to get creative and have a great time! We were there for 3 days exporling, shooting, & bonding over our love of photography. We laughed, sometimes so hard we cried, and we captured some stunning images. I was able to shoot about 95% of this shoot on film and was so happy with how they all turned out.

As creatives sometimes we can start to loose focus and need a chance to refresh before the crazy rush of wedding season starts all over again. Our industry can be so cut throat and competetive sometimes, but it’s so important to find others who share your passion. You can gain so much from getting together and learning from each other. Photography has given me some of my closest friends! I cannot wait for our next trip toether.
